Privacy policy

Overview

Fix Spreadsheet ("we", "us") provides a web application for cleaning CSV and Excel files. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account data: email, name, and password hash when you create an account.
• Uploaded files: spreadsheets you upload for analysis and cleaning, stored privately for up to 7 days on Free or 90 days on Pro.
• Usage data: job metadata (file name, row counts, issue counts) and billing-related events.
• Payment data: processed by Polar; we receive subscription status, not full card details.

How we use information

We use your data to operate the service: analyze and clean files, enforce plan limits, provide support, and process subscriptions. We do not use spreadsheet contents to train machine learning models.

Retention

Uploaded and cleaned files are deleted automatically (7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro) unless you remove them sooner. Account data is kept while your account is active.

Sharing

We share data with service providers needed to run the product (hosting, database, object storage, payment processing). We do not sell your personal information.
